Road Impact Mitigation Fee Suit Decided

San Andreas, CA — In Calaveras County Roy Hifai and Guy Meyers have lost their three year old suit that challenged the legality of the county´s Road Impact Mitigation Fee program.
Judge Duane Martin handed down that decision the final week of June. The pair claimed the fee was improper because the fees they paid on their Valley Springs project could have been used to improve roads as far east as San Andreas.
But Judge Martin agreed with the fees that had been approved by the Board of Supervisors.
