Sonora Teen Arrested On Burglary Charges

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Tuesday evening Sonora Police arrested 18 year old Justin Flynn of Sonora for burglary and possession of stolen property.

At 9:35 an S.P.D. officer noticed Flynn throwing several objects on the ground just west of the Rite Aid store on Mono Way. Flynn claimed the items, a jig saw, a nail gun case with nails, a hammer, a tool belt, and two CD cases with CDs and DVDs, belonged to him. He then claimed he had picked the items up in the 600 block of S. Washington St. where he had been working.

While at that residence the officer discovered a broken window. He was then contacted by the contractor who stated that he had terminated Flynn several weeks ago.

Flynn was booked into the county jail.
