Domestic Dispute In Sonora Ends With Arrest

Sonora, CA — Late Tuesday evening 38 year old Lee Donnie Brown of Sonora was arrested by Police Department officers and charged with kidnapping, domestic battery, child cruelty-endangerment, false imprisonment, destroying a phone line and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

At one point, the victim was running with the couple´s three month old child down Snell St. and yelling for help as Brown ensued. Several vehicles passed, but no one stopped.

Police Chief Mace McIntosh says if you ever witness something such as this, please let the department know immediately. Once Brown caught the victim, he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back to the residence. Officers later arrived on scene and arrested the suspect.
