Five Students Report Injuries Following Mark Twain Elementary School Bus Accident

Copperopolis, CA — Five students reported injuries following a school bus accident this afternoon near Copperopolis.
According to C.H.P. Officer Mike Maddox, the Mark Twain Elementary bus was rear-ended by a Jeep on Hwy. 4 near Stallion Way at approximately 2:15pm.
It is not immediately known how many students were on board. At least two were transported to a local hospital. Three others reported injuries, but refused treatment. The injuries are initially considered minor.
The C.H.P. plans to release more information when it is available.
