Murphys Man Rolls His Tractor, Dies

Murphys, CA — 42-year old Samuel Anthony Manuel died Saturday after rolling his backhoe.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s Sergeant Dave Seawell says Manuel was driving his tractor at 9:40 p.m. Saturday when it rolled on top of him and took his life.
The incident took place at Manuel´s home on Broadview Lane in Murphys.
Seawell says CPR was administered but Manuel died on the scene. There is no information on why Manuel was driving his tractor so late at night.
He was self employed.
