Queen Contestants Sought For Mother Lode Round-Up

Sonora, CA — Queen contestants are being sought for this summer´s Mother Lode Round-up.
2007 will mark the 50th anniversary of the celebration. Contestants for this year´s title must make a commitment to run for Queen by February 7th.
The competition is open to individuals living in Tuolumne and bordering counties. Besides being active during the event, the winner will represent the Motherlode Round-up at parades and rodeos throughout California.
Among other things, the winner will receive a Queen´s Saddle, a $2000 scholarship and a free horse trailer for one year.
