Report Shows Change In Tuolumne And Calaveras Population Numbers

Sacramento, CA — Calaveras County has experienced a slight population increase recently, while Tuolumne County has noticed a decrease according to new statistics released by the state.
The California Department of Finance says that Calaveras County´s population increased from 45,903 to 45,980 over the fiscal year that ended on July 1st. Meanwhile, Tuolumne County´s population fell from 56,580 to 56,470.
California´s population as a whole grew by 435,905 residents during the one-year period. 47 counties increased population while 11 reported a decrease.
