Detectives Break Up Calaveras Burglary Ring

San Andreas, CA — Five arrests have been made in connection to a burglary ring in Calaveras County.

?Our Detectives Unit just concluded a month long investigation regarding a string of burglaries that occurred in the San Andreas, Mountain Ranch and Angels Camp areas,? says Sgt. Dave Seawell of the Sheriff´s Department. ?As a result of that investigation, they were able to arrest five subjects, all from San Andreas.?

Arrested were Matthew Thein (19), Michael Thein (48), Karen Lundy (53), Zack Miller (29) and Morgan Rowley (23).

Detectives recovered a substantial amount of stolen property, including firearms, jewelry, construction tools, sports cards and an all-terrain-vehicle.

Seawell says that the Sheriff´s Department is not going to release any additional information at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation. Additional suspects will likely be arrested.
