City To Name Alternate To JPA Governing Board

Sonora, CA — Sonora City Mayor Ron Stearns will name the city´s alternate to the Joint Powers Authority Governing Board for economic development at this evening´s City Council meeting.
Council members Hank Russell and Bill Canning have already been named as the city´s two representatives on the seven member Board.
Also this evening the City Council will officially wrap up Phase Two of the Shaw´s Flat Storm Drain project.
In addition a final adoption of Ordinance 782 for the enforcement, imposition and collection of fines for code violations targeting public nuisance areas within the city limits will be presented.
The open-to-the-public meeting gets underway at 5pm in the Council Chambers at Sonora City Hall.
