Theft At Soulsbyville School Leads To Arrest

Sponsored by:

Soulsbyville, Ca — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office has made three arrests regarding the theft of a concrete bench and memorial plaque from Soulsbyville School last week.

Video surveillance was able to allow for a description of the suspect vehicle, so deputies had photos made up to be placed around the school grounds.

One of the staff members reported that a vehicle matching the description was parked in the Willow Springs area. The individual was able to obtain license plate information, and an investigation led officials to the Soulsbyville residence of 24-year-old Kasey Allen Questo. Questo was cooperative and a search of his residence resulted in the deputies finding approximately 42 grams of marijuana. He was arrested in connection to the theft and on drug charges.

Shortly after, two other juveniles were interviewed, leading to their arrest and the location of the missing bench. The plaque is still missing. The combined value of the items is estimated at $800.
