PriceCo Foods Hopes For January Opening In Junction

Sonora, Ca — Owner Randy Toy says that PriceCo Foods, a new grocery store, will hopefully open sometime around January in the former Albertson’s space at the Junction Shopping Center.
Toy and his family are also the owners of the Marina Marketplace, located in Stockton.
Some former employees of Albertson’s will be hired, says Toy. This includes the Store Manager Bryan Hurley.
The news broke earlier this month that a new grocery was planning to move into the Junction after signs were placed on the windows stating that applications were being accepted for job positions.
PriceCo Foods will employ around 70 workers. The former Albertson’s building is an estimated 33,000 sq. ft., and has been vacant since 2007.
