Valley Springs’ Anderson Booked On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA — 29 year old Brent Anderson of Valley Springs was arrested Saturday afternoon and booked by the CHP for driving-under-the-influence.

Anderson was northbound on Silver Rapids Rd. approaching the Hwy 26 intersection. According to the CHP report Anderson failed to stop for a posted stop sign due to his level of intoxication.

Traveling through the intersection Anderson´s 2007 Hummer H3 broadsided a 1993 Mercury driven by 57 year old Jesus Gudino of Burson. Gudino and his passengers, 50 year old Jesus Garcia and 16 year old Jesus Garcia (both of Burson) sustained head, neck and possibly other internal injuries.

Anderson was not injured. His passenger, 27 year old Johnny Young (also of Burson), suffered a serious hand injury after the vehicle rolled once.
