Big Rig Driver Reports Moderate Injuries

Jamestown, Ca — 60-year-old Jack Ecroyd of Jamestown suffered moderate injuries to his face, back and ribs as a result of this morning´s big rig accident on Hwy 108/49 west of Chicken Ranch Rd.
Ecroyd told the CHP that a deer ran into the roadway, so he swerved his 1974 Peterbilt truck to the right. His vehicle then collided with an embankment and overturned.
The accident occurred around the seven o´clock hour, and the roadway was blocked for approximately four hours. No other vehicles were involved.
