Garamendi Joins The 2010 Governor’s Race

San Francisco, CA — According to the San Francisco Chronicle Lt. Governor and Calaveras County native John Garamendi has thrown his hat in the ring for the Democratic nomination for governor in 2010.
The 63 year old Garamendi has unsuccessfully run twice for the state´s top position; 1982 and again 12 years later.
Others expected in the Democratic field; former Governor Jerry Brown and San Francisco´s newly wed mayor Gavin Newsom.
