French Flat Fire At 100 Acres: Human Caused

Jamestown, Ca — CAL Fire investigators have determined that the vegetation fire at French Flat Rd. and Williamson Rd. originated in an old storage shed.
The fire is 100 plus acres in size and has jumped over Mormon Creek. It is headed in a north direction.
Investigator Rommie Jones says that it appears that the fire was human caused.
Deputies with the Sheriff´s Office are on scene in case there would be a need to call for evacuations.
The fire started during the two o´clock hour. Air resources have been called in from outside the region.
