Pinecrest, Ca — Former U.S. Olympic coach Corby Fisher has been named the new Snow Sports Director at Dodge Ridge.

Fisher was named to the U.S. Ski Jumping Team in 1992 but had his career cut short in 1995 due to an injury.

Following the winter of 2002, Fisher was selected to take over as the Head Ski Jumping Coach for the U.S. Nordic Combined Team.

Among his numerous career highlights, Fisher was the Head Ski Jumping Coach for the U.S. Olympic Team in 2006. It was notable, as he was the youngest head coach at the games held in Torino, Italy. Following the Olympics, he went to work at Deer Valley in Utah, one of North America´s top rated ski resorts.

As Snow Sports Director, Fisher will be responsible for leading the Snow Sports School and Dodge Ridge Race Team. In addition, he will be in charge of the Events Department.

“We are thrilled to have Corby here at Dodge Ridge,” says President Sally Helm. “His energy and vision for the future are inspiring and we are looking forward to working with him for years to come.”

Fisher now resides in Cold Springs with his wife Emily and 10 month old daughter Keely.
