Sonora Resident Missing Following Weekend Altercation

Sonora, CA — According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office, 23 year old Carl Stephen Knight of Hatler Drive in Sonora is reported missing following a Sunday morning physical fight in the Jamestown area.

Later a friend of Knight´s contacted deputies stating that he (Knight) had not been seen since the altercation with 28 year old Robert Earl Slawinsky and 26 year old Paul Curtis Slawinsky both of Jamestown.

Further investigation indicated that Knight had been injured and moved to an unknown location.

As the investigation continued the Slawinskys were arrested and booked into the County Jail. Bail has been set at $1 million for each individual.

The search for Knight is now centered in the Lake Don Pedro area. In addition investigators are processing a residence where they believe this incident may have taken place in addition to a vehicle for physical evidence.
