Pland Wins Cakewalk Recommendation From Political Action Committee

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Current Board Chair Dick Pland has easily captured the recommendation of the Tuolumne County Political Action Committee to continue as District Five supervisor.

According to Chamber President/CEO George Segarini it was an easy choice for the Committee given Pland´s long standing pro-business track record.

Pland has served on the Board for 11 plus years and has been a county resident for 51 years.

His opponent is 63 year old Domenic Torchia of Columbia. The father of three sons, Torchia is a former air traffic controller who has worked with the federal government and local governments on issues including health care, scenic and wildlife preservation and capital improvement measures. He also has an extensive fundraising background.

AM-1450 KVML will air live Primary Election coverage Tuesday from eight until 11pm. Half hour updates will also be aired on STAR 92.7 and Today´s County 93.5 KKBN. Updated results will also be posted on MyMotherLode.com and we´ll also be audio streaming our three hour coverage on MyMotherLode.com.
