Minor Injuries To Pair Of Firefighters On Baretta St.

Sonora, Ca — Two firefighters have suffered minor injuries while fighting a structure fire at 189 Baretta St. this afternoon.
Sonora Fire Chief Mike Barrows says both have been transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.
The fire originated in the attic of the home shortly before 2pm and quickly spread to other areas of the structure.
Quite a little smoke has been visible around downtown Sonora this afternoon.
Baretta St. remains blocked off to traffic as of 3pm. Travelers will want to avoid the area.
The cause is not known at this time.
