Pipe Bomb Discovered In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — Sunday afternoon at approximately 12:30 a pipe bomb was discovered at the intersection of Rawhide Rd. and French Flat Rd.
According to Sgt. A.J. Ford of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office a passerby discovered the pipe bomb and immediately contacted authorities.
The Sheriff’s Office then contacted the Bomb Squad from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department. Team members removed the device and destroyed it.
No injuries were reported.
