Campbell Resident Fatally Injured In Hwy 108 Accident

Jamestown, CA — The CHP says a 51-year-old Campbell man was fatally injured in a rollover accident shortly after two o’clock Friday afternoon on Hwy 108 near the Yosemite Junction.
The Toyota truck drifted off the road and overturned multiple times. He was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
CHP Spokesperson Tom Wills says, “Officers discovered a large amount of alcohol in the area, and it appears this was an alcohol related fatality.”
The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members.
