Hwy 108 Fire Safe Council To Host Herbicide Meeting

Sonora, CA — Saturday morning at nine o’clock the Hwy 108 Fire Safe Council will conduct an herbicide meeting from 9am until 12:30pm in the Sonora Fire Department conference room on South Shepard.
Council President Jerry Tanhauser will host the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide property owners and local fire officials the opportunity to discuss planning for a wildfire.
Officials will demonstrate the correct storage of herbicides.
Subjects discussed will include how to remove flammable grass, the proper use of herbicides, the best herbicides to use and protection of the soil and the environment.
