Fund Established For Jeremy Peters’ Children

San Andreas, CA — A fund for Jeremy Peters’ two children (Jordan, 12 and Alexis, 9) has been established at the Wells Fargo Bank in San Andreas.

The 34 year old Peters was one of the three people killed during the Sunday noon hour accident on Mountain Ranch Rd. near Lower Michel Rd. A memorial service for Peters has been scheduled for 1pm Saturday at the Metropolitan. Also killed in that accident was Peters’ finance, 22 year old Kallie Montgomery, and her 17 year old sister Skye Montgomery, a student at Calaveras High School.

16 year old Trenton Montgomery remains in critical condition at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Their 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier hydroplaned into the opposing lane at 12:27pm and was hit by 2001 Toyota Tacoma driven by 26 year old Shenandoah Roberts. She suffered moderate injuries according to the CHP report and was transported to Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Earlier this week a Montgomery Family Memorial Fund was also established at the Wells Fargo Bank in San Andreas. Donationas for both families can be sent to P.O. Box 637, San Andreas, CA 95249.

On Friday, March 13 the Agricultural Department at Calaveras High will be sponsoring a spaghetti feed dinner for the Montgomery Family and the Peters’ children at 6:30 at the San Andreas Town Hall.
