Independence Day Celebrations Across Mother Lode
Sonora, CA — There are various events in communities across the Mother Lode today and throughout the weekend.

For example, activities will be taking place in Twain Harte today starting a 10:30am with a community sing along, followed by the parade at 11. There will also be a bounce house, kids games and tours of the Twain Harte Fire house. In Jamestown, starting a four o’clock, will be a 4th of July Block Party. There will be three bands performing, food vendors and games. There are also big events today in Mokelumne Hill, with a parade at 11am, and activities in the park. Â Columbia State Park will host various activities starting at 11am, including the noontime parade.
The Arnold Independence Day Parade will be this Saturday at 10am, and Ironstone Vineyards will host its annual celebration and fireworks show Saturday from 5-10pm.
Also of note, the gates to the four day Mother Lode Fair open at three o’clock this afternoon.
