Dodge Ridge Enjoys Good Crowds & Conditions
Dodge Ridge Ski Area is seeing good sized crowds in what is perhaps the most important week of the year for Sierra Nevada ski areas.
Marketing Manager, Amber Jenquin, comments that the mountain is now in full time operation (7 days a week).
Jenquin was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The week between Christmas and New Years Day is generally seen as the most pivotal week for ski areas to maximize their exposure, future promotions and immediate revenue.
According to Jenquin, “Dodge Ridge is really nice because of its easy accessibility, family promotions, ski school, lodges, restaurants, shops and lots of acres with new powder.”
Jenquin said the first snow arrived in November, which was great news for a season based business, and the crowds of skiers have been welcoming new snow every week since the beginning of December.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
