Update at 6:30 a.m.: The CHP reports new details in a solo-motorcycle crash on Parrotts Ferry Road, between Confluence Lane and Moaning Cave Road in the area of the Moaning Caverns Adventure Park in the Vallecito area of Calaveras County. The rider reportedly lost control of the bike on a curve and went off the roadway. The wreckage has been cleared, according to the CHP, which reports major injuries in the collision.

The CHP reports it happened just before 3:30 this morning on Parrotts Ferry Road, between Confluence Lane and Moaning Cave Road in the area of the Moaning Caverns Adventure Park in the Vallecito area.
