Calaveras Emergency Food Boxes Available

San Andreas, CA — Now until September, families with children in Calaveras County are now eligible to apply for a free monthly emergency food box.
Resource Connection’s Program Director, Jeannie Hayward says the program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Resource Connection Food Bank. The Food Bank has rented an additional warehouse for this program and plans to serve approximately 1200 families at each distribution. Distribution dates are the second and fourth Fridays of each month.
