Accused Pedophile Faces Charges In Calaveras County
View PhotosSan Andreas, CA — A 20-year-old man arrested in Stanislaus County on outstanding warrants is now locally facing charges for allegedly molesting two children.
According to Calaveras County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Rachelle Whiting, Devon Tyler Brannon, whose current listed address is in Riverbank, was picked up earlier this week and transported to the county jail in connection with a case investigated last April. She adds that at the time of the alleged offenses, he was staying with family in Calaveras County and that there are no other details to release at this time.
According to the booking report, he was booked late Monday morning at the Calaveras County Jail on three related felonies. They were listed as lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and oral copulation with a victim under ten years of age with an additional enhancement charge under California Penal Code 667.61, that if proven, could bring a 25-years-to-life sentence.
