Monday Flue Fire

Mokelumne Hill, CA — A flue fire was reported on a 911 call Monday evening.
Crews from Central Fire, Foothill Fire, San Andreas Fire and Mokelumne Hill Fire responded to the 7:12pm call at 8271 Church St.
The fire did not spread to the structure. It was contained at 7:30pm. Units closed the event at 8:11pm.
According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll the cause of the fire was probably a dirty flue.
No damage estimate has been released.
