The Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada remains in effect until Noon today.
Snow levels begin around 5000 feet.
Three to six inches of snow accumulation is expected above 5000 feet. Two to two 1/2 feet of snow is expected over the higher elevations.
Wind gusts from 45 to 55 mph are blowing over the highest peaks.
