Thanksgiving Throughout The Mother Lode
Sonora, CA — The Mother Lode community is offering various free Thanksgiving meals over the next couple of days.
Tonight the Heart Rock Cafe on South Washington Street hosts a “Thanksgiving Meal with all the Trimmings” at 6pm. Members of Christian Heights Church, Jamestown Hope Center, Community Assembly in Tuolumne, the Heart Rock Cafe Church and other community members will all be involved in this event. Around 600 are expected to attend, and meals will also be delivered to homes.
Also today the Jamestown Community Hall offers a free Annual Thanksgiving Dinner from 6 pm to 8 pm presented by Jamestown Youth Center & Sierra Bible Church.
On Thanksgiving Day the Sonora Alano Club has their Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner
at 12:30 pm at 19421 Village Drive in Sonora (Behind Sears Shopping Center)
Also on November 24, the Sonora United Methodist Church will serve its annual Community Dinner from 1 to 4pm at 90 Yaney Avenue.
The 24th annual Thanksgiving Feast will be held Nov 24th at Groveland Community Hall from 11:30am-4pm. Turkey, ham and side dishes will be served.
