Sonora, CA– This week Tuolumne County authorities arrested three Sonora residents on numerous drug charges.


The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday, detectives along with the Tuolumne County Narcotics Unit (TNT), executed a search warrant in the 10800 block of Racetrack Road.


During the search they discovered 91 marijuana plants growing in the backyard and in a shed, 10.5 ounces of processed marijuana, 3.4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and several unidentified pills. Detectives also found packaging material, scales, a police baton and a “T” handled fixed blade knife.


The three suspects, Joshua Standen, 24, Adrian Vasquez, 20, and Tara Jo Romano, 23, were charged with felony cultivation of marijuana, felony possession of marijuana for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance and felony possession of a dangerous weapon.


Romano and Standen are both being held at the Tuolumne County Jail on $20,000 bail, while Vasquez has been released on $20,000 bail.
