Sonora Man Hit By Car

Sonora, CA — A man was injured yesterday after being hit by a car in downtown Sonora.
The Police Department reports that 63-year-old David Fristad of Sonora was crossing Jackson Street northbound when he was hit by a sedan driven by 24-year-old Stephen Sullivant of Twain Harte. Sullivant had just turned off Washington Street.
The Police Department reports that Fristad was knocked approximately 20 feet from the site of the impact. He was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. The Police Department says an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
