Highway 26 Fire Contained

Valley Springs, CA — Crews have now contained a small vegetation fire off Highway 26 near Shelley Road.
It was located between the communities of Valley Springs and Linden. The fire was about an eighth of an acre in size. Fire crews remain on scene for mop-up. Expect activity in that area. The cause of the fire is not immediately known.
