More Blasting Means Delays

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Caltrans crews will bring delays to some motorists morning commute this week as they will close off the Highway 108 Bypass from Hess Avenue near Cavalieri Road to Standard Road near Via Este Road/ Rancho Poquitos for blasting.

Blasting is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. this Tuesday and Caltrans anticipates being done around 5 in the afternoon.

Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. A signed detour is in place and alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is part of the $52.9 million Highway 108 East Sonora Bypass Stage II Project which began on April 19, 2012 in Tuolumne County.
