Fireworks Spark Blaze In Calaveras County

Valley Springs, CA — It happened Thursday night on the 10,000 block of Southworth Road and Burson Road in Valley Springs.
Around a 1/8 of acre of grass went up in flames from exploding firecrackers. It took fire crews about an hour and a half to put out the blaze.
No one was injured and no structures were at risk.
