Sonora, CA — This weekend is a chance to hear from leaders from the Mother Lode Fair and Calaveras County Fair.
Mother Lode Views will feature Calaveras County Fair CEO Laurie Giannini and Mother Lode Fair Board President Ron Hamilton. They will talk about how county fairs have evolved over the past several years due to a decline in state funding. They will also talk about recent infrastructure projects, the role of the fairgrounds in the community, and in times of emergencies, and plans for this year’s events.
