Creating A Wish List For Recreation
Groveland, CA – Groveland residents will get a chance to tell Groveland Community Services District officials what they want in terms of park and recreation services in the community.
Local opportunities for fun is how the district is hoping to draw a big crowd at its GRACE, which stands for Groveland Regional Area Community Enhancement, workshop. It is being held at the Tioga High School Gym, which is located at 19304 Ferretti Road in Groveland, beginning at 1 p.m. A short presentation detailing some of the possibilities will beginning at 1:15 p.m.
District officials say they have already received some people advocating for such amenities as trails, bike parks, disk golf, an RV Park, renovated baseball field and gazebos. Â The culinary academy at the high school is preparing snacks for the event. A full house is anticipated by district leaders who urge those planning to attend the workshop to arrive early to get a good seat.
