Update at 715am on April 24:Â TUD reports that the phone and internet outage continues today (Wednesday).
Original story posted at 10:10am on April 23: Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District reports that its phone and internet service is down this morning, so an alternate number is set up for anyone needing to reach the district.
TUD spokesperson Lisa Westbrook notes that AT&T is aware of the outage, and the district is hoping that service will be restored sometime soon. It is not immediately clear if the outage is impacting other nearby AT&T customers. The alternate line to contact TUD is 209-533-8001.
