Update: Missing Teen In Calaveras County Found

Update at 5:30 a.m. Saturday: After a search around White Pines Lake in the area of Arnold by Calaveras County Sheriff’s Deputies that involved a CHP helicopter in the air and volunteers and Search and Rescue Team members on the ground late into the night last night (Friday) turned up nothing, a missing teen showed up at a property in a neighboring community.  Details are minimal, but Sheriff’s officials report that 14-year-old Colt Price turned up at a property near Sheep Ranch. Information regarding how he got there or where he had been was not disclosed by investigators. He was evaluated by emergency personnel and determined to be unharmed.

Price was last seen on Thursday riding his mountain bike heading to the lake. No further details are being released at this time.

Update at 8:30 p.m. Friday: Search efforts to find missing 14 year old Colt Price will continue today. Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, volunteers, Search and Rescue Team members and CHP air support are searching around Arnold, White Pines Lake, the surrounding sub-divisions and wilderness and will do so into the night and tomorrow if necessary.

Original post at 11:45 a.m.: Arnold, CA — Local law enforcement officials are seeking help from the public in locating a missing 14-year-old.

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office reports that Colt Price was last seen in the Arnold area yesterday. He was wearing a swimsuit, dark colored shirt, brown flip flops and carrying a string backpack. He left on a purple and silver mountain bike and was headed towards White Pines Lake. He was supposed to return by dark, and when he did not, the sheriff’s office was notified. Anyone with information on Price’s whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at 209-754-6500.
