Update: Early Morning Crash On Cherokee Road
Update at 9:55am: The CHP reports that the man who sustained minor injuries in the crash is 24-year-old Justin Arvin of Tuolumne.
Original story posted at 8:45am: Sonora, CA — The CHP reports that a vehicle went 40-50 ft. down an embankment early this morning near the intersection of Cherokee Road and Tuolumne Road.
The rollover crash happened at around 2:45am. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported one person to a local hospital with reported “minor injuries.” Officials decided to wait until later in the morning to retrieve the vehicle, and travelers along Tuolumne Road could notice the law enforcement activity during the morning commute.
