Sonora Area Foundation Requests Polar Express Train Ride Applicants
Sonora, CA — Each year the Sonora Area Foundation sponsors 100 children on a great adventure named The Polar Express™. The Board of Directors will draw the names of 100 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, who will travel by railroad to the “North Pole” with an adult companion.
Sonora Area Foundation Director Darrell Slocum shares the details about the event in his newest blog. He encourages everyone to share the entry form with family and friends who know Tuolumne County residents with a child or grandchild. Entry forms are also available at the Sonora Area Foundation office at 362 S Stewart Street in Sonora. All forms must be received by close of business Monday, November 13th. Winners will be contacted by phone on November 15th.
