Barbara Tims-Gregorio passed away Monday, November 7th.Barbara grew up in Salinas, where her father & mother were in the agriculture business. She attended schools in Belmont, Notre Dame and several other colleges before settling down with her family, including 8 children, at the Nutting Estate in Arroyo Seco.
She owned & operated Swensen’s Ice Cream Parlor in the 1970’s. She was a world traveler and lived in Spain after the passing of her beloved husband, Walter John Gregorio. She will be missed by all who knew & loved her.
Barbara was a loving, Mother, Wife and Friend.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Danly (Danny) Tims, sister, Nancy Nutting Liggett Swift, and husband, Walter John Gregorio Sr.
She is survived by her Children: Rick Gregorio, Nancy Tims-Salmeri, Jana Marie Tims-Evans, Byron Tims, Sara Tims-Herrin, Kenny Tims, Walter John Gregorio Jr., Anet Tims-Sewell, 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
