The candidates include incumbents Kent Johnson, Ron Kopf and John Maciel, and challengers David Axelrod, Barbara Balen and Bob Rucker. The upcoming open-to-the-public forum will be held September 22 in the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meeting room at 2 South Green Street in Sonora from 6-7:30pm. The forum will be aired live on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML and streamed on myMotherLode.com. The candidates will be allowed to give an opening statement about why they are running and will then be asked a variety of questions pertinent to the district’s future.
