Update: Air, Ground Resources Head To Burson Vegetation Fire
Update at 3:45 p.m.: Fire planes and ground units called to a reported vegetation fire in Burson, unable to locate a fire incident in the area have been called off, according to CAL Fire spokesperson Lindy Shoff. “They couldn’t find anything,” she states. Currently, no other fire incidents are locally being worked, she reports, adding, “Let’s keep our fingers crossed.”
Original Post at 3:37 p.m.: Sonora, CA — If you are hearing Columbia airbase resources in the air, it is because they and a number of ground units are responding to a vegetation fire reported near Burson in the area of Chili Camp Road and De Los Angeles Road.
The call came in the three o’clock hour. No other details are currently available. We will keep you posted as more details come into the news center.
