Sonora, CA — The American Lung Association has released its annual report card for cities and counties related to tobacco policies.

Among the state’s largest cities, Los Angeles received a C, San Diego a D, San Jose a B, San Francisco a B, Fresno an F and Sacramento a C.

The Mother Lode did not fare very well with the American Lung Association, with both the City of Angels Camp and Calaveras County receiving an F. Tuolumne County received a D, as the report notes there are efforts to eliminate smoking at some public events and dining locations. However, the City of Sonora received an F.
