Attempted Murder Arrest In Calaveras County

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department reports that a woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and inflicting corporal injury.
The alleged incident happened on December 30th in Burson. 48-year-old Deana Kay Brown allegedly tried to run over a victim with a vehicle during an argument.
Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Anthony Eberhardt says Brown was located over a week later and arrested on January 10. The victim’s name has not been released, but he was taken away from the scene for medical treatment. He was conscious and alert when the first responders arrived on scene.
Brown was eventually found at a home in the community of Campo Seco.
