Caltrans Work Plans Week Of Oct. 5

Stockton, CA — Ahead of the workweek, Caltrans overnight paving crews will be back on the job Sunday evening at 7 in the Jamestown area.

They will be continuing a month-long project to smooth and improve Highway 49/120. For the coming week they are scheduled to work nightly through Friday morning from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. before Simms Road to Chicken Ranch Road. Motorists should expect 15-minute delays.

More overnight paving along Highway 49 is planned nightly beginning Sunday at 7 p.m. through Friday morning at 6 a.m. between Highway 120/Chinese Camp and Montezuma Road Railroad as well as from there to Chicken Ranch Road, where ten-minute delays are possible.

Drainage work along Highway 49 each weekday between Shaws Flat Road and Poppy Hills Drive is slated to set up between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., potentially causing motorists delays of ten minutes.

Round-the-clock improvements along Highway 12 in Valley Springs are expected to finally wind up Friday. The work zones, in place since late June include the shoulder from Pine Street to Cosgrove Creek. Related work on Highway 26 will run between Nove Way and Highway 12.

Along Highway 26, each weekday, Caltrans will be doing slope repair and clearing between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Expect ten-minute delays then.  Tree work is also scheduled Monday through Saturday in the same location from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. with intermittent one-way traffic control that may cause brief delays.

On Highway 108, each weekday between Pinecrest Dump and Beardsley Reservoir roads, drainage cleaning from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. may generate brief delays.

Slope repair and cleaning on Highway 120 scheduled each weekday between Pine Tree Point and Ferndale Road may set motorists back a few minutes from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Also each weekday, curb, gutter and sidewalk work on 120 between Yosemite Lakes Drive and the West Park Boundary from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. may likewise cause brief delays.
