Caltrans Work Coming Next Week

Stockton, CA — Caltrans crews will work along three main Mother Lode highways next week.

Along Highway 4 in Murphys, Monday through Friday Feb. 23-27 shoulder work will run between Allen Lane and Mitchler Avenue from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. with no anticipated delays to motorists.

On Highway 49 in Calaveras County, shoulder work between Angels and Poole Station roads in San Andreas will continue from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily; no delays for motorists.

Along Highway 49 in Tuolumne County, there will be three work zones in place. Scheduled daily Monday through Friday is tree work between the Mariposa-Tuolumne County line and Highway 120 with one-way traffic control and potential motorist delays of five minutes from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Also scheduled daily, crack seal work between Melones Court and Tuttletown with one-way traffic control and potential motorist delays of five minutes from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.  Monday, Feb. 23 only, Caltrans plans drainage inspections between Shaws Flat and Mountain Brow roads with one-way traffic control and potential delays of five minutes for motorists from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

On Highway 120 in Tuolumne County, maintenance work between the fire station, east of Ferretti Road and the Saw Mill Mountain area with one-way traffic control and potential motorist delays of ten minutes will run between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
