Sonora, CA — Snowfall in the high country has shut down all three Mother Lode mountain passes. This includes Highway 108 Sonora Pass, Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass, and Highway 120 Tioga Pass.
Caltrans spokesperson Angela Deprato says it is unclear how long the roadways will remain closed. “It’s really weather dependent. Once the storm clears out we’ll see what type of repairs crews have to make and reopen as soon as we can to motorists,” says Deprato.
